Cross Country Running Team
Here are the members of our  team that took part in the annual
Angus Primary Schools Cross Country Championships.
Hundreds of P6 and P7 children from 42 schools from all over Angus
gathered at Forfar Leisure Centre to take part in the  mile races.


Here are the girls at the beginning of the P6 race.

Watters Cup 2007

St Thomas were drawn against Hayshead
in this year's cup competition.
The team played exceptionally well
and at full time the score was 0-0.
This meant we went into extra time
but unfortunately an unlucky own goal
saw us lose out to Hayshead by one goal to nil.

NETBALL
The netball season finished on a high when the team raised their game and became
RUNNERS UP IN THE TOURNAMENT.

In the semi final we had been drawn against Inverbrothock
who had already defeated us twice in the league.
In an excellent first half we took a 5-0 lead.
The second half was much closer but we hung on to finish winners
by 7 goals to 5.

In the final we were drawn against the other team
who had defeated us in the league - Timmergreens.

This proved to be an extremely close game with each team
scoring goal time about. The score was 12 - 12 with only a minute to go.
Unfortunately that last minute saw Timmergreens
grab two goals in a row and go on to win  14 - 12.
Still, an excellent performance - well worth the silver medals!
